NRAYSA Meeting Minutes

June 29, 2008

Present: Debbie Keller, Dave Mehls, Mike Anderson, Dave Ritter, Patrick Flandrick

Quorum not present, so no motions made and/or voted on. Discussion focused on the following points.

Dave M. handed out the Grant Application put together with the help of Patrick Overton that was turned into the Andersen Foundation. This will also be the template used for other grant applications. We should find out in September whether or not we received the grant from the Andersen Foundation.

Dave M. would like budgets for next year done by November. He will be handing out forms to use so everyone uses the same format.

We are hoping to start Phase 3 of the Hatfield Park Project soon. That includes 2 more soccer fields, 55 stall parking lot, roadway and utilities to the parking area, well, pump, and irrigation for soccer fields. Dave has been putting the irrigation wheel out on the new soccer fields every day. The perennial rye grass comes up quickly and the bluegrass more slowly. Dave has been overseeding with bluegrass and will do so again in July.

Patrick F. will look into getting us a trailer from Safeway Bus Co. (where he works) to use for a temporary concession stand. Safeway sells their used trailers every couple of years.

We will again be having a float in the Fun Fest parade scheduled for July 12th at 5:00 pm. We are always looking for club members to ride on the float and/or hand out candy.
