NRAYSA MEETING

Present:  John Noye, Bryan Graff, Debbie Keller, Mike Bonney, Doreen LaMirande, Dave Mehls, Dennis Brunkhorst, Dave Ritter, Lisa Ritter, Mike Anderson, John Peterson, Mike Weiss

A. CALL TO ORDER

          Meeting was called to order by President Dave Mehls at 7:20 pm.

B.  ADOPTION OF AGENDA

          Motion made by John Peterson and seconded by Dave Ritter to adopt

          the agenda.  Motion passed 12-0.

C.  APPROVE MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING

          Motion made by Dennis Brunkhorst and seconded by John Peterson

          to approve minutes of previous meeting.  Motion passed 12-0.

D.  TREASURER’S REPORT

          Already reported in Annual Meeting.

 E.  OLD BUSINESS

          1.  Parkland Update

                   Already done in Annual Meeting.

          2.  Fundraising Updates

                   a.  Spaghetti Dinner set for Sunday, April 13th from

                             11 am – 2 pm at the KC Hall

                   b.  Bryan Graff is working on getting brat stands set

                             up at Econofoods

                   c.  Mike Weiss is in the process of setting up a Fall

                             Craft Show at the new elementary school for the

                             Saturday before Thanksgiving.

                   d.  Bryan Graff will look into setting up the Round

                             Up Campaign in town.

          3.  Sam’s Club/Walmart Charge Cards

                   Discussed the importance of each club having a charge card

                   to use at Sam’s Club so they give us better donations.

F.  NEW BUSINESS

          1.  NRAYSA Website Update

                   Lisa Ritter showed us the new website that can be used

                   by authorized people to add content to it so everything

                   will be more current.  It will be searchable and archivable

                   with links for sponsors and rotating banners for sponsors.

                   Motion made by John Noye and seconded by Dennis

                   Brunkhorst to switch to the new site.  Motion passed 12-0.

          2.  Election of NRAYSA Board Members

                   Motion made by Bryan Graff and seconded by Mike Anderson

                   to nominate Dave Mehls for President.  Motion passed 12-0.

                   Motion made by Dennis Brunkhorst and seconded by Dave

                   Ritter to nominate John Peterson for baseball rep.  Motion

                   passed 12-0.

                   Motion made by Dennis Brunkhorst and seconded by John

                   Peterson to accept the resignation of John Noye as Vice

                   President.  Motion passed 12-0.

                   Motion made by Mike Anderson and seconded by John

                   Peterson to nominate Dave Ritter to finish out John Noye’s

                   Vice President position.  Motion passed 12-0.

                   Motion made by Mike Anderson and seconded by Mike

                   Bonney to nominate Ben Wanless for soccer rep.  Motion

                   passed 12-0. 

          3.  Determining meeting nights and times for 2008

                   Sunday nights still seem to work.

G.  SPORTS CLUBS UPDATES

          Nothing to report.

H.  MISCELLANEOUS

          Nothing.

          Motion made by John Peterson and seconded by Dennis Brunkhorst

          to adjourn meeting.  Motion passed 12-0.  Meeting adjourned at 8:28

          pm.
