5TH/6TH Grade Youth Football Program

Fee: $120.00

About the Program:

This is a full contact, tackle football program. Participants will wear full pads, and will be coached on the fundamentals of tackle football through practices and games. This program is mainly an “in house” program with a potential travel weekend, to either Amery or Osceola, for a Scrimmage Jamboree.  The program begins the week of August 2nd, with clinics and player evaluations, and ends mid October with Championship and Consolation games. Game schedules will consist of five league games and at least one playoff game, with a maximum of three playoff games. Practices begin the week of August 16th, and will generally be two to three nights a week throughout the season.

 2010 REGISTRATION

 

 

The New Richmond Area Youth Sports Association will be registering kids for the upcoming baseball, soccer and girls softball seasons on February 25th and February 27th, 2010, at the KC Hall in New Richmond. Thursday, February 25th will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, February 27th will be from 9:00am to 12:00pm.

Also, those interested in signing up for the Tiger Sharks swim team can do so at this time as well. For more information on this program, please contact:

A few other things to note before registration:

1.      Do to the size of our baseball program and number of participants; we encourage families interested in baseball to register on-line at www.nrbaseballclub.org. Program includes T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Majors, Minors, Babe Ruth and Traveling teams.

2.      Adults interested in coaching can sign up at this time as well.

3.      5th and 6th grade youth football will not be conducting registrations at this time. This registration will take place at the end of July.  An information sheet will be available.

Tailgate Party and Homecoming PDF Print E-mail

Come join us for the pre-game Tailgate party at the New Richmond High School on Sept. 25th 2009. NRAYSA will be running the concession stand along with other festivities for this event.  

 

  • We will be having the tailgate party from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the fenced in practice area of the High School. 
  •  During the tailgate party, we have a DJ lined up to be playing music, the art class will be doing face painting, the baseball club will be selling NR Baseball and Tiger apparel, and the football club will be holding a throwing accuracy event.
  • Around 6:00pm we will give away some type of prize to the wildest or best “Tiger” get up.

NEW TRAILS AHEAD PDF Print E-mail

During the summer of 2009, approximately one mile of paved, multi purpose trails will be constructed along the west side of the park as well as along the shoreline. These trails should be completed by August of 2009 and are possible due to grant monies from the Department of Natural Resources.
